LISTED BUILDING
Chiddingfold Surgery
This GP surgery in the heart of Chiddingfold, Surrey was completely destroyed by fire in the early hours of 7th January 2019.
The damage caused by the fire was so extensive that there was no option other than to demolish the building entirely and construct a new surgery from scratch.
The new build comprised of masonry construction with aluminium windows, a trussed roof structure and a tiled roof finish to match the previous surgery. We were also required to install new drainage and complete new hard and soft landscaping to the externals.
As the surgery sat closely to a number of residential properties, works were carefully planned to minimise disruption to the surrounding areas and local community. The works had to be completed within a very tight programme period to get the surgery back up and running to minimise further disruptions to the doctors and their 4,700 patients.
The project was completed successfully and handed over in November 2019.
